After highschool, Alan began his journey into the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as a tutor for special needs children. In 2017, Alan graduated from University of Hawai’i Manoa with a B.A in Psychology. He then moved to the Big Island where he developed his passion for ABA. He joined ABC Group in 2019 as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) before earning his masters in ABA from Florida Institute of Technology in 2021. Alan became a Case Supervisor in January 2023.
Alan has a focused interest in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), parent training, and teaching daily living skills. When Alan is not working he spends his time making music, powerlifting, and going on hikes.
