Janell Kaneshiro is a Licensed Behavior Analyst who has worked with individuals with autism spectrum disorder since 2008. She earned her master’s in counseling psychology from Chaminade University in 2007. Janell had supervised experience in a center- based setting with learners ranging from 3 to 19 years of age and fell in love with behavior analysis after working as a behavior technician. She became licensed as a behavior analyst in 2012.
Janell joined ABC Group in 2018. She is a member of Hawaii Association for Behavior Analysts (HABA), has volunteered for the TACA/HTF Crossfit program, volunteered for TACA family night and holiday social events, and presented for TACA and Learning Disabilities Association of Hawaii (LDAH) parent groups.
Janell has special interests in verbal behavior, organization behavior management, problem behavior reduction, social skills training, parent education. When she is not at work, she volunteers as a dog obedience instructor on the weekends providing beginner obedience training.
