McKenna is a Licensed Behavior Analyst who has worked directly with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder since 2020. She began her career in Behavior Analysis as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at ABC Group Hawaii. Here at ABC Group, she found her passion for the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and decided to pursue a career in ABA. She earned her Master’s degree in Exceptional Student Education, with an emphasis in ABA from the University of West Florida in 2023. She became a BCBA in 2024.
McKenna is an active member of the Hawaii Association for Behavior Analysis (HABA). She served on the HABA board as Student Representative in 2022.
McKenna’s special interests include: Skinner’s Analysis of Verbal Behavior, problem behavior reduction, and functional skill acquisition.
